Established in 2002, our company has established an excellent
reputation for bringing outstanding products to the market via a
team of passionate industry professionals. Our portfolio of Fine
Wine (from Washington and all over the world) and Specialty Beer
(many of the country’s finest Craft Breweries, Belgian, German,
British Ales, etc) is truly world class which together with an
excellent business plan and terrific employees has helped fuel
our growth from 6 to 43 employees in 6 years (and now we’re
going to 50+).
Duties include: picking, loading and delivering wine and beer
(including kegs) to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores;
stocking shelves, building displays and working backstock at
grocery stores; (possibly) occasionally receiving and stocking
product in our warehouse.
Candidates must have experience working in the Western
Washington wholesale beverage business and possess a thorough
familiarity with our account base and area street geography.
Beer and wine product knowledge is a plus. Company preference of
promotion from within means excellent opportunities for growth.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have reliable
transportation, a clean driving record (no CDL needed), be
physically able to lift 36 lbs. repeatedly/move 160 lb. kegs and
be available for (8 to 10+ hr.) shifts that typically start at
5AM.
Our drivers typically drive 4 days a week and enjoy 3 day
weekends although some positions require 5 X 8 Hr work shifts.
Qualifications
• Promotes excellence by providing superior service to each
customer.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy (will be handling cash
invoices - background and driving record check and drug
screening required)
• Delivery Drivers use PDA ordering devices and mobile thermal
invoice printers so ability to work with computer devices is
required.
• Inspires others with drive and motivation to work diligently
and intelligently.
• Thoroughly knows the Puget Sound street geography and retail
account universe.
• Projects a professional and polished image that inspires
confidence and trust.
• Organizational skills needed to manage multiple time stops and
varying retail receiving requirements.
• Minimum 1 year experience with a Western Washington Wine or
Beer wholesale distributor.
ONLY INDIVIDUALS WITH DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN WHOLESALE
DISTRIBUTION OF FINE WINE AND/OR SPECIALTY BEER (IN WESTERN
WASHINGTON) WILL BE CONSIDERED.
